For The Wholesale Business Entrepreneur or Forum Junkie

Are you investing your wholesale business time wisely? More like, productively? It has been said by many real smart business people and those that can back their words of wisdom thanks to experience, that you should use your time smartly and debunk those tasks that get you either pain that you believe you don't need to do or the actual task that can be done by someone else good as you do them or even better.

After focusing my time on a new upcoming system, it's finally time to bring my own positive pep talk (even if Google has me forgotten for a few days). Confirming, this is a small pep talk to help you get more productive time and the not the other way around.

There are many smart people online that believe that forums are ways to help you get on track. Those are, wholesale business enthusiast in message boards that have to do with wholesale, self help forums for those that need a nice hand to get on track with perhaps a paid product. It is ok, it is intelligent to do so and even recommended.

However, I must remind anyone and their soul that going to forums to make a virtual living while having another "ForumLover" person as a nickname continuously posting you message of love without something concrete or perhaps, something that would be beneficial for you and your business - is a waste of time.

Forums are fantastic tools to build friendship and profitable unity. In other words -relationships, friends and partners with purpose. Heck, if I ever have a guru tell me that you are in the business of Internet marketing or in the wholesale business- I should virtually smack him and deal with the well done consequences later on.

The purpose of being in forums is once again, in a hurry, to build relationships. We as marketers are and should be in the business of public relations. That is promoting a genuine goodwill towards others in your must natural and effective positive way. If you have want a wholesale list for example. You can go to a forum, yahoo answers and ask your next door car salesman neighbor to provide you health spa distributing sources. Must likely it won't work, however, it's a way to start spending time to get what you want while you initiate or continue to grow a relationship - not to downgrade permanently a relationship.

So like the advice, some just hate the advice. It is your decision to know what side of the coin you want to be. Work to finally play it correctly as it should traditionally be (McDonald's restaurants in my opinion, should not be a positive example taken here for our online market) or stay average and become the forum junkie while posting numerous post that don't have anything to do whatsoever with business and later complain on why life has been awful.

A reminded example of this, I know this forum junkie. Let us call this junkie: a sad entertainer. The dude got so hypnotized (probably still is) by things I have said that people need to understand because they are so truth to everyone because of technology, marketing advances, among the other usual things that hurt but are the truthful facts but have to be said to make people understand who you are and the ideals you embrace as they are just, well, facts of a new age.

In a nutshell, the "sad entertainer" believed that his misery and hatred was to be waived and balance with my success and my handful of luck. I needed to confront him, I did and I succeeded nicely. Private messages of care and caution were sent to me, 3 emails from unknown dudes to me until now and even 2 invitations to private networks by people I respect, one was from a friend and a so called guru. While my confrontation needed my divine attention to correct the sick mind, I made friends out of what they saw.

Obviously, even more confident was grown and more determination was added into the game play. The best of both worlds indeed, however others perceived as incorrect without a doubt. The moral of the story, you should hang around people that are in the same caliber as you or you could permanently suffer the consequences for a lifetime if you are weak and are distracted enough.

Forums are a great place to build and continue business relationships, not to exchange misery and sadness. That's why I don't post much anymore at forums, however, I do remind myself to reply and post to either give back or to make correct statements.

Use your time wisely, don't get sucked in by a sad entertainer who can try and still your productive time and be useful to your community. Life is a delicate game of choices, you either are good and never compromise who you are or you let others compromise who you are to have you live the life they want you to live. I choose the happy and healthy life, how about you?

Confessions Of A Lazy Entrepreneur - Create Your Own Home Business In 30 Days

What if I could tell you that you can create your own home business in the next 30 days. Would you laugh at me?

When I first started out I think that I must have tried everything to get to this to work, but with very little success. However, unlike most people I did not quit. I was attracted to the lifestyle that the internet could give me. One of freedom where I do not need to travel to work every day and also to be able to work the hours that I wanted.

Eventually I tried and cracked the code. If you know how to follow the proven formula then it really is easy. However, if you have not yet made a dollar online you will be extremely skeptical that you can earn money.

In this article I would like to go over a proven formula that you can use to start your business in as little as 30 days. If you can't get this to work it will be very unlikely that you will get other methods to work.

Choose a profitable niche market. This will be any market that there is a consistent demand for a product. Try to avoid markets that are too competitive and also ones that only have one product as you make most of your sales from the products in the back end.

Create a squeeze page and link it to your autoresponder. Write articles and submit them to all the major article directories. Include a link to your squeeze page in your bio so that you can build a list.

Finally, you can create your own products or look for affiliate products that you can promote to your list.

Would you like to know more about the magical marketing techniques that have helped me to quit my day job? I have just completed my new ebook.

All Those Who Haven't Dreamed of Owning A Restaurant Or Bar Can Leave Now

As a multi-concept restaurant owner and author, I know the sleepless nights you spend thinking of serving the masses great food or rubbing elbows with your congenial guests in a packed pub. It's a dream of all smiles, aromas and full tables of satisfied customers.

Reality is much different. People can warn you over and over about the difficulty of starting and owning a restaurant, but the dream is too strong. You will do it anyway.

At the very least give yourself a chance to survive. Remember a restaurant is a business like any other and food has less to do with it than you think. When my first restaurant business started off with total focus on serving exceptional food, I was satisfied customers would soon come by the dozens. They didn't.

Fortunately, I had previous entrepreneurial experience and a history of running businesses. My first plan was to re-write the plan. and that is the beginning of a long process that should have started on the day I decided to turn my dream into reality.

If you want to give yourself a chance to survive here are a few basics;

1) Write a comprehensive business plan.

2) Include a cash flow statement on a best case and worst case scenario.

3) Prepare a marketing plan that covers at least the first six months of operations.

4) Lack of capital causes more restaurant failures than any other single cause. Make sure you are prepared.

5) Get all the input you can from accountants, attorneys, other restaurateurs and anyone who will listen.

6) Location is the second most frequent reason restaurants fail. Know why and how your location will work with the demographics of your guests.

Notice I don't have anything about "good" food and catchy menus. The fact is that few restaurants fail because of bad food. Most food related issues are due to lack of understanding what your prospective customers' expectations will be.

Plan every detail. Know your guests and get as much help as possible. The hospitality business is difficult. Just ask the owners of the 60% of the new restaurants who fail every year. Follow these simple guidelines and learn the business before you embark on your adventure in the restaurant business.

Improve your odds and keep that dream alive.

Larry Edger is the author of The Restaurant Ebook. Complete details on the subjects above are available at http://www.therestaurantebook.com along with many more resources for restaurant owners.

How to Be a Successful Entrepreneur

An entrepreneur does many magnificent things. In fact, many people are astonished with how the mind of an entrepreneur's works. How does an entrepreneur become successful? And most importantly, do you want to be a successful entrepreneur also?

An effective entrepreneur should have great ideas. You have to research if your business idea is realistic. After gathering all the needed information, you can now decide if you will pursue the business idea or simply file it and do it in the future. For instance, you decide to pursue the idea. The next thing that you would have to focus on is generating the capital needed.

The projects undertaken by entrepreneurs are done in a very careful manner. Demand research is a very important aspect to determine if a business is feasible or not. Saturated and established markets are a big no for entrepreneurs because their aim is to earn more money. With this kind of market, the business that they are about to put up is suicidal because of the extreme competition.

If you want to become a successful entrepreneur, you have to work on some concepts such as ROI or return on investment, compounding capital, economy of scale, speed of business returns, and many others.

You can't work your way to success if you don't know these concepts. So you have to study and continue your acquisition of knowledge. If you can study a business related course, do so. Having the proper educational background, not necessarily formative schooling, will help you a lot in succeeding in the business world.

According to many expert entrepreneurs, education is not enough. As an entrepreneur, you must have the right attitude and qualities. Now what are these attitudes and qualities? Firstly, you have to be diligent. You have to be willing to work many hours of the day or night especially if you're a beginner.

Almost eighty percent of your time will be allotted for encouraging customers or subscribers. In the case of an internet business, you have to attract a lot of traffic to your site otherwise, your business will fail.

Entrepreneurs are risk takers. This does not mean that entrepreneurs enter the market with their eyes closed hoping for success. Entrepreneurs are willing to pursue a risky course of action, especially if after a careful analysis; they can see high opportunities for success.

Not many individuals are willing to take risks because they are fear failing. An entrepreneur learns a lot from past failures. It's all part of life and so you should not be scared.

"I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work". -- Thomas Edison
You should be organized and know how to deal with diverse types of people. If you can build good will and you can win the trust of your customers and subscribers, your business will undoubtedly succeed.

If you have these qualities, then you're on your way to becoming a successful entrepreneur. You can choose between online internet businesses or you can start by putting up a business in your local area. If you choose the second option, you would have to study your local market and make sure that there is a need for your business.

If after awhile you feel that it is time to expand, you may do so because you will earn more profit from it. The first option is often the most chosen at this point in time because there are many opportunities waiting for entrepreneurs online. Choose now.

Starting a Business? Reasons Why You May Need to Recruit an Advisory Board

Do you know everything? Do you know everyone? Do you have strengths and weaknesses? I assume that your answers to these three questions are No, no, and well, yes, given in the order of the questions, as posed. If you are contemplating starting a business, merrily bootstrapping your way to what you hope will be entrepreneurial success, perhaps you need to reconsider your own human limitations. You might want to strongly consider recruiting an advisory board.

Who should become a member of your advisory board?

Thats a tough one, and an easy one. The tough part is that you probably already have members of your advisory board, yet neither you, nor they, may be aware of their membership. Significant others, parents, friends, and other folks who are a part of your life all tend to give you advicesometimes, whether you want it, or not. Are these people good advisory board members for your business? Maybe! Maybe not.

Lets suppose we take the instance of a spouse or a significant other. It may cause a drain on your relationship to talk shop, too often. If your relationship begins to suffer because you cannot leave your work at work, and spend time on the personal part of your relationship, perhaps you should set some boundaries, and leave your struggle, pains, headaches, and gripes at work. If you are enjoying success: share it. If you work at home, leave all of those other negative things in your in-home office. Adopt a similar attitude as the insurance companies that suggest: I dont want to be a burden to my family.

To the extent that you are able, you should leave the office burden behind and take adequate care of yourself, too, by-the-way. Turn the cell phone off, leave the laptop screen down, close the office door behind you on the way out, and clear your head from time-to-time.

Some personal relationships are strengthened by a great deal of togetherness. If thats the way yours works, and you trust the instincts, acumen, and abilities of someone who is close to you (relative to guiding your business), then by all means, consider adding this person to your advisory board. You may want to have a clearly established set of protocols for ensuring that this arrangement works, however. While its not exactly the same thing, it should serve as a warning to anyone that it is not unusual for friendships and other close relationships to evolve into business partnerships, only to subsequently unravel.

In outlining the above, certain things should have become obvious: one needs to establish criteria for the selection and retention of advisory board members. In particular, on an individual basis, one should have skills, knowledge, and insights that will serve to strengthen you, the advisee. The relationship should yield objective advice, which you may or may not adopt, with no hard feelings on anybodys part.

You should also adopt a holistic view about the composition of the entire board: there should be balance. I am particularly fond of mentioning that there is also a place for non-experts on a board. Some of the greatest insights of all come from individuals who innocently ask what the experts might consider naive questions. Why, do you do it this way? Every once in a while, that individual who doesnt know any better may ask a question that stumps the experts, or causes them to produce a very poor answer in an era of rapid change, which we now face. That poor answer is usually along the lines of, Because thats the way weve always done it. (Baaawoooonkgame show loser. Wrong answer.)

Recruitment strategies that work.

Have you ever heard of the WIFM proposition? Whats in-it for me? Thats the question you should prepare to answer as you craft your message for prospective advisory members, and determine who those members might be. The question I would ask is this, Who might benefit from being on my board, while assisting me? Lets take the example of a Web site or other marketing communications materials: It might be nice if you would provide some public acknowledgement to your advisory board member in your outbound messages, such that they generate visibility and benefit that individuals own endeavors. Yes, its tit for tat. Be thoughtful of the other persons needs and interests!

Dont forget sharing. Remember that from kindergarten? You need to be prepared to give, as well as receive. Dont ask people to be a member of your advisory board if you are too apathetic, or too busy to give a little of your time helping others yourself. Dont be one-sided in your dealings with other people. Further, it doesnt have to be the same little group of people. In other words, if you were kind enough to sit on a few boards and lend your skills and insights, the adage, What goes around, comes around, will likely apply to you. It may be a different group of individuals, besides the ones you got to know through the boards you sit on, who sit on your own advisory board. Thats o.k., just think of the expanded network that you will have.

Logistics of advisory boards

Dont be a burden to your board. Too many meetings become very non-productive. Too much communication becomes an imposition. Keep advisory board obligations streamlined, simple, and convenient; meetings should be limited in frequency and duration, mutually beneficial, and enjoyable, while at the same time addressing the nuts and bolts of the advising tasks at hand. If you have the budget, you may wish to consider an annual meeting in a setting thats enjoyable. If you cannot afford it, is it because you were so busy bootstrapping that you didnt foresee the need for such a board or meetings? Thats called thinking small. Think bigger.

Staying connected, and competent

If you dont provide for your, and your companys, own nurturing and development, it probably isnt going to occur at all. As a related aside, I find that many business plans often fail to address professional development and the entrepreneurs need to stay tuned in and informed. If you havent factored in your own industrys number one and number two annual conferences, some continuing education and seminars, some workshops, and plenty of books and periodicals, youre cheating your business out of what should be one if its primary assets: your competence and connectedness as a leader.

Bottom line, you need to stay connected and informed to be effective. An advisory board is a great way to address many aspects of this requirement. You should supplement and offset your weaknesses and human limitations with the help of others, and be sure to reciprocate.

Get The Information You Really Need To Be A Successful Business Woman

On New Year's Day, 6 years ago, I was having breakfast with my husband when I made a New Year's resolution to find something else to do with my life. I only had 2 criteria. I was searching for something I loved doing that would create massive amounts of money. I had no idea what it would be. All I knew was that I was sick and tired of doing the same thing I'd been doing. It was time for a change.

I found I could turn my passion for the workings of the human mind into an information empire. I would write a book on how you could change your life by just changing one thing. The only problem was, I didn't know anything about writing or about how you get a book published. I'd never created a product or even thought about creating anything. In fact, I had always believed I wasn't creative at all!

So I went on a 2 year expensive, time consuming odyssey to learn what I needed to "make it." And still I was left with big gaping holes.

In the end I realized the gurus I had gone to for these pieces of the puzzle, knew all the steps that were necessary. They had taken those steps to create their financial empire. And every once in a while, in a private conversation, they would mention little tips and strategies they've used to get where they are...But those secrets were never revealed in public.

I kept asking myself... "If all these really successful, wealthy people know the whole system necessary to do what they've done, why aren't any of them teaching it?"
Well, I'm not the kind of person to give up until I get the answers I'm looking for. I realized my mentors weren't trying to hide the secrets. They knew what to do, but they couldn't dissect it to create a teachable system.

Don't get me wrong. I learned a tremendous amount of information from the products I bought, the seminars I attended and the mentoring and protg programs I joined (in fact, I spent well over $100,000 in just the first 2 years!), and I would spend every dime again because the investment I made in my future was well worth it.
Now, 4 years later, I'm a highly successful entrepreneur, speaker and author, and I'm living the life of my dreams. I found something I love to do and I'm making a fabulous living doing it. Remember when I said I didn't feel creative at all when I first started out? Well, since then, I've created so many products I can't even list them all here!

You see, I just got tired of always looking for the next person to give me the information I needed to move ahead. Do you ever feel that way? I wanted to be able to see the whole big picture. I knew I was ready for more detailed, focused information and I bet you are, too.

For years, I searched high and low for practical success strategies. Particularly for today's success-minded woman, and there simply wasn't anything out there. Nothing. That's why I created the Women's Business Empowerment Summit

Lynn Pierce, founder of the "Women's Business Empowerment Summit", brings you over 25 years of successfully teaching how to combine business and personal development to reach the pinnacle of success and live the life of your dreams. If you're an entrepreneur, speaker, aspiring author or information marketers, Lynn will mentor you to: Discover your real expertise and passion, Develop a blueprint for the life of your dreams, and Design a passive cash generating business individually built for you.
